Burzin Patel

Burzin Patel is a Senior Program Manager focused on strategic ERP and Retail ISVs. His responsibilities span the entire life-cycle of ISV products - starting with development, to helping customers deploy with the most optimal solutions on SQL Server. He also works very closely with the SQL Server development team and has been a key contributor for many of the features introduced in SQL Server 2005. Burzin has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and did his thesis in processor design and C compiler development, both areas in which he holds several patents. Burzin recently co-authored the SQL Server 2005 – Administrator's Companion book.
